2014 Coweta-Fayette Literature Fair

Winter was very hard on the Literature Fair this year and the ice storm in February caused us to reschedule the fair.  We moved the date to March 14th, 2014.

We were delighted to welcome 24 students to the fair this year with age ranges from 1st to 8th grade.  Colorful balloons greeted the students as they checked in for set-up.  Each grade division was designated by a color to allow for ease in locating students.

This year, we had a special musical guest to serenade us during the judging hours.  Mr. Ethan Leak, a homeschool freshman, graciously played both guitar and piano during our fair.  We are grateful and hope to welcome him back another time.

The judges lamented over the scores and had many "very close" numbers in the student grading sheets.  The students are required to complete several categories in order to compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons.

Each student was a winner for participating and working to present his/her project at the fair.
